This FAQ page is designed to answer the most common questions we receive. If you can't find the answer to your question here feel free to contact us.

How does the technology work?

After you register for a workshop or conference you will receive an email with a link to access our workshop platform. The workshop will be set up like an online course with modules you will need to complete. If the workshop is live, one of those modules will connect you with the live stream of the workshop. Simply complete the modules and we'll take care of your credits from there.

Does Zaboosh submit credits to RID or do I need to do that?

As an approved RID CMP sponsor Zaboosh will submit all credits earned to RID. RID requests that you allow 60 days for credits to show up on your transcript. We are typically able to get them submitted faster for single workshops. Conference credits often take us until right up to the 60 day mark to get them compiled and submitted.

Can I get state continuing education credits for the workshop?

Most likely. After you register for the workshop or conference send us an email (support@zaboosh.com) indicating which state you are requesting credits for and the contact information for the organization over state credits. We’ll do our best to get them approved for you. You will also receive a certificate of completion after the workshop that you can use to prove participation with organizations/entities other than RID.

Will the presentations be in ASL or spoken English?

We let the presenter choose which language they will present in. While many present in ASL, some do choose to present in spoken English. In these cases, Deaf participants may request an interpreter by emailing support@zaboosh.com.

The workshop time says MST/MDT. What time zone is that?

MST stands for Mountain Standard Time and MDT stand for Mountain Daylight Time. We are based in Salt Lake City, UT. Please note the time zone when you log on for the conference. You can see a map of the US time zones here.

I am not available to participate in the live online workshop. Can I watch it later?

Yes. The workshops will be recorded and will be up for viewing on the end of the following week. All registered participants will receive an email with instructions for viewing the recorded workshop after the conference. You will have 4 weeks to view the recorded workshops and submit the evaluation for CEUs.

Do I need any special equipment to participate?

You will only need a working computer and a good internet connection.
