Zaboosh Conferences
Bringing you Quality Online Conferences Since 2014!
Our first online ASL interpreting conference was March of 2014. Since then we've been offering conferences every March and October. In 2020, seeing the need for more online offerings during the beginning of the pandemic we added our Educational Interpreting Mini-Conference in June. We hope you will join us for one if not all of these insightful conferences!
March
Our March conference is the original. It is an eclectic mix of ASL Interpreting topics that span the entire field. Whether you hang out with kids in K-12, work with college students in higher education, prefer a hospital room or even a good old staff meeting, you will find something (if not many things) here to enrich your work.
June
Every June we focus on the classroom. We all know the success of any child is heavily impacted by the quality of their education. While the school year is winding down, it's the perfect opportunity to get some great ideas for your summer practice. This conference pulls in practitioners, Deaf and Hearing, Teachers and Interpreters to provide a short weekend of Strategies for Success.
October
This conference focuses on bridging the gap between research being done on ASL interpreting and the practitioners who do it every day. We enjoy workshops from both researchers disseminating their work and interpreters who have taken the research and applied it.
