Workshop Description:

Overview of Deaf History- without the hours of reading from collegiate text books. Uncovering hidden characters in ASL’s history.

Presenter Bio:

Laura Blum is an amateur history enthusiast. She has lived in a variety of places, but grew up in Maryland attending mainstream schools near Gallaudet University.  5 years ago she moved to Utah with her family . She is an NIC certified interpreter and currently works at Sorenson VRS.
